My teenage daughter struggled through intense drama this week. “Drama” is the term, I’ve learned, to describe the episodes of social turbulence that adolescents and high schoolers endure as they work their way toward graduation and adult life. I just discovered Beth Irvine, author of Healthy Mother, Healthy Child and her video of four wonderful relaxation tips. I love her emphasis on putting your attention on the present moment. When I’m thoughtful enough to do this, it really does reduce my stress level and releases my anxious thoughts. Thanks, Beth!
