This was a very touching blog. I love the connection between God's love and a mother's love; it does bring home how big it must be, doesn't it? I do need to stop and remember that that love is there for ME to tap into. It's easy to get caught up in being there for the whole family and forget to take care of myself.

The girls are back in school; we are all busy and stressed trying to adjust to a new school year, getting back into the swing of the old routine. It is breath-takingly overwhelming at times. As a single mother, I can get very caught up in feeling like it's all my burden-- there is no one else to do this; it's all on me.

Remembering that I can turn to God for support in those moments is profound. As much as I love my children and give until I feel I have nothing left (and then give some more), I have a source that loves me that much (and more) too! What a relief.
